Yeo expects big response tonight from Wild:

“Yeo spent a lot of the morning skate having one-on-one meetings with a number of players, including captain Mikko Koivu. He also said that as a team, the Wild’s slow starts recently against the Islanders, Senators and Penguins were addressed.

“Devin Setoguchi goes to the right wing, Dany Heatley to the left wing of the top line. They had both been playing on their off wings because Heatley has mostly played right wing in his career and is more comfortable there. But Setoguchi is not. Both Setoguchi’s goals this year have come on his strong side and he had a tendency of 1) not catching pucks well on the left side, 2) skating east-west, 3) not coming down with speed, 4) forcing pucks to Heatley.

    NHL Game Previews – Oct 11, 2011

FLA at PIT – Expect the Panthers to be competitive. They are eager to play on national tv and are catching the Pens in a first game back after road trip scenario. The Pens are playing their home opener after a three game, Western Canada road trip to start the season. Also, Malkin is likely out and they are still missing Orpik.

MIN at OTT – The Wild were late waking up on Monday as they played a 1pm game on Long Island. They dominated the final two periods but gave up two in the first and lost 2-1. Ottawa is playing their home opener after arriving home late Saturday night from Toronto. Minnesota is the better team and is looking to rebound after Monday’s disappointing loss.
