Yeo expects big response tonight from Wild:

“Yeo spent a lot of the morning skate having one-on-one meetings with a number of players, including captain Mikko Koivu. He also said that as a team, the Wild’s slow starts recently against the Islanders, Senators and Penguins were addressed.

“Devin Setoguchi goes to the right wing, Dany Heatley to the left wing of the top line. They had both been playing on their off wings because Heatley has mostly played right wing in his career and is more comfortable there. But Setoguchi is not. Both Setoguchi’s goals this year have come on his strong side and he had a tendency of 1) not catching pucks well on the left side, 2) skating east-west, 3) not coming down with speed, 4) forcing pucks to Heatley.

Wild’s Setoguchi replants roots in new icy home

“Most of all, Setoguchi is looking forward to a bigger role in Minnesota. After years of battling for ice time behind wingers such as Heatley, Patrick Marleau and Joe Pavelski, he will move from right wing to left on the most legitimate first line in Wild history.

Skating in the preseason with center Mikko Koivu and Heatley, Setoguchi scored a goal and had four assists as the trio combined for five goals and 11 assists in three games. He has shown to be a super-fast, super-aggressive, offensively gifted player with a knack for the net. His legs are always moving, which leads to induced penalties and power plays.”

Story from @RussoTrib on one of my top-rated value picks for this year.
Only 24 years old and playing on a line with Koivu and Heatley.
Looking for 30-30 out of Devin this year.
